We have all heard the saying at some point, “Win the morning, win the day”, or even, “The early bird gets the worm”.
Now while these are just sayings as old as time, there is a really simple message within these that are key.
If you get up and attack the morning by doing a few simple things, you set up your day, and eventually your week, for success.
Firstly, make your bed!
Making your bed as soon as you get up is a great way to start the day with a simple win.
It is the one thing that you can do day in day out no matter what.
It will encourage you to do more tasks as the day goes on, and most importantly it will teach you how the small things really do make a difference.
Do something stimulating!
There are plenty of great things you can do to start your day.
The key is just to get your mind or body moving.
Exercising, reading, meditating, or even journaling can all help to stimulate the mind and/or body.
Try and create your own routine
This one’s a bit vague - as there are so many different things you could add to a morning routine.
However, the key is just consistency.
Pick a few of your favourite things, whether it’s using Cashmere Syrups Caramel to make a delicious caramel latte, listening to a certain podcast, or even going to the gym.
String a few of these things (be careful not to cram too much in) into a consistent morning routine and after a few weeks this will help you really kickstart your day.
Winning your week really comes down to winning each day. And do you know what each day has in common?
They all start with a morning.
So go out and win your morning this week!
